KS3 (Year 7 and 8) Mathematics Teacher

Are you a dedicated and qualified teacher Key Stage 2 teacher looking to make a transition into the field of mathematics education at KS3? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

Sir Harry Smith Community College is looking to appoint a qualified KS2 teacher to work in our highly experiences maths team teaching year 7 and 8 students. There is also the opportunity to assist the college in enhancing its translon work in maths from KS2 – KS3 working across the Trust with our partner primary schools. The maths department is a highly experienced team with a well resources, aspirational and sequences curriculum. The college is an advocate of the White Rose curriculum.

The ability to communicate with our students efficiently and senior leadership, staff and parents is imperative. This role requires an individual that is confident, organised and can work constructively as part as a team.

In October 2018, Ofsted recognised that Sir Harry Smith Community College continues to be a ‘Good’ school.
