Head of Psychology

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic psychology teacher to lead the department at Sir Harry Smith Community College. The school has a strong ethos in well-being and creating a sense of belonging for all our students. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic qualified teacher (holding QTS or equivalent and relevant degree) to lead our Psychology department.

The successful candidate will lead and teach Psychology across key stage 4 and 5. They will be creative, innovative, efficient, and committed to improving outcomes for all students. The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and be able to work closely with all our wider social science departments and staff, who are committed to a progressive and stimulating approach to teaching and learning and instilling a passion for these vital subjects in our students.
