Contingency Day 2023
Wednesday 28th June 2023 will be a ‘contingency day’ for all exam boards in the UK
In line with Ofqual's exam contingency plan this is an additional day at the end of the exam period. It will only be used in the event of a major local or national disruption to summer 2023 exams, in which case it is possible that timetable dates could be affected up to and including the contingency day.
Schools should remind students that they will need to make sure that they are available until 28th June 2023. if the contingency plan needs to be used, Ofqual will contact centres with details of what to do next.
