School Meal Price Adjustment from 15th April 2013
As ever our school meals continue to be both top quality and also great value. However, we have not had any price increases since 2009 and unfortunately prices have risen considerably since then. As a result we have had to make some adjustments to our pricing structure that will come into effect from the 15th of April.
As prices have increased, so has the value of the free school meal allowance, which from the start of next term will be £2.25 per day. This is aligned to the great value "Meal Deal" which is always available and consists of a main meal and dessert and available to everyone at just £2.25 each day. An example of the "Meal Deal" would be:- Roast Beef, Roast Potatoes, Selection of Vegetables with Yorkshire pudding & gravy, followed by Fruit Crumble with Custard.
For your information, listed below are just some examples of the items always available and their prices:
- Meal Deal £2.25
- Pizza Slice £1.00; Garlic Bread £0.50
- Filled Baguette £1.50
- Plated Salad £1.75
