At Sir Harry Smith Community College we take pride in providing our students with healthy, balanced and exciting meals. All of students use our ‘cashless’ system where students access their lunch money account using a fingerprint.
The College Catering Team provide freshly cooked meals and snacks and also hold ‘theme weeks’ allowing students the opportunity to sample dishes from around the world alongside British classics.
There is no stigma attached to FSM at Sir Harry Smith and all students, whether they are on FSM or cashless pre-paid meal scheme, have exactly the same system in place so that no-one is able to tell them apart.
FSM enables parents to feel confident that their child has been provided with a good meal whilst at school and could potentially save the family 195 days worth of expense.
Did you realise that by applying and being accepted for Free School Meals (FSM), the College actually benefits too?
