The run up to GCSE examinations and the examinations themselves can be challenging times for both students and parents alike. At the college we aim for every student to maximise their achievements in their GCSE exams. This section of the website provides advice and support to both students and parents in ways they can prepare ahead of their exams.

Revision sessions are held weekly across all subjects in the school, the schedule can be found below:

Students have spent time during tutor time looking at revision tips and techniques. A copy of the resources they have used can be found here

Dates and times of the Summer 22/23 exams can also be found here

Tute is offering a free timetable of livestream GCSE revision lessons in English, Maths and Science.

Students at Sir Harry Smith Community College can join via YouTube to help with your last-minute revision and exam preparation

It is completely free and open to anyone with the link.

A Tute teacher will deliver a live session of essential, night-before-the-exam guided revision.

There will also be another Tute teacher manning the chat box and answering student questions in real time.

This aims to prevent last-minute panic and help you revise in a guided, calm way.
