Student Support Assistant
Scale 4 Points 7-11 (Actual Salary - £18,755.55)
37 hours per week - term time only

Sir Harry Smith Community College is looking to appoint Student Support Assistants to join our forward thinking, dynamic school that provides high quality teaching and learning and exceptional pastoral care.
The purpose of this role is to run the House Office, under the direction of our Senior Tutors – Heads of House, in an effective and efficient manner to help the school achieve its aims and objectives as set in our school improvement plan. You will also have the responsibility for a specialised area of student support and well-being across the house system. The successful candidate will support students on issues, including behaviour for learning, engagement, and attendance. The ability to communicate with our students efficiently and senior leadership, staff and parents is imperative. This role requires an individual that is confident, organised and can work constructively as part as a team.
